South Korea v Algeria: North Africans looking to make amends

Algeria were much better than many expected them to be against Belgium, but will that be enough to beat South Korea? Find out from 8pm on talkSPORT.
South Korea
What’s the story?
Their draw with Russia was one of the few games that didn’t produce the beauty and magic we have come to expect so far. Coach Hong Myung-Bo claimed his South Korea side are “going to play to win” against Algeria and should they do that, then their chances of playing in the knockout stage will be boosted.
Fact: South Korea are unbeaten in their previous World Cup games against African sides. They beat Togo 2-1 in 2006 and drew 2-2 with Nigeria in 2010.
Algeria
What’s the story?
Algeria went ahead against the heavily fancied Belgians, but were beaten by two goals in the final 20 minutes. Another loss will eliminate them from the tournament.
Fact: Algeria have not won a World Cup finals match since 1982 when they beat both West Germany and Algeria.
