The striker was raging with referee Simon Hooper for denying a glorious late chance for Jack Grealish by failing to play a full advantage for the hosts.

Haaland made his feelings abundantly clear to the officials before storming off the pitch - but he was not done there.

On his way to the tunnel, footage from the crowd shows the Norwegian colliding with Tottenham midfielder Lo Celso.

The Argentine appears to shout something in Haaland's direction which causes the Man City striker to stop in his tracks.

His father, Alfie, also got involved by commenting: 'Terrible'.

However, Man City boss Pep Guardiola managed to keep his cool in the post-match interview.

When asked about the late drama, Guardiola said: "Next question. I will not do a Mikel Arteta comment.

"It is hard when you review the image, the referee decides to blow the whistle after he has already said to play on. After the pass, the whistle, so I do not understand this action."

The Spaniard added: "It is a pity. Sometimes football is like life, you do not get what you deserve."
