Manchester United defender agrees Dynamo Moscow switch

Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner has agreed a switch to Dynamo Moscow.

The Dutchman has found first-team chances limited at Old Trafford, making only 28 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, scoring two goals, since joining from Vitesse Arnhem in the summer of 2012.

His fellow left-back Patrice Evra signed a new contract at the club in May, while United have been linked with another player in that position, Southampton's England international Luke Shaw.

A statement on Dynamo’s website revealed the 25-year-old has already penned a contract with the Russian side, with only "technical details" still to be settled.

Buttner said: "I want to play in the Champions League, win trophies.

"Dynamo are a very strong team and I am confident that we will fight for first place this season."
