Arsenal fans convinced ex-Chelsea star Kai Havertz is the key to Champions League glory as omens surface

Arsenal fans are convinced that former Chelsea star Kai Havertz might lead them to Champions League glory.
Arsenal have discovered that they will face Porto in the last 16 of the competition with the draw being made on Monday.
In 2021, Chelsea faced Porto on their road to glory, beating them 2-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
And Arsenal fans believe that the arrival of Havertz, who famously scored the winning goal for the Blues against Manchester City in the final, could be the key to their own victory.
Reacting on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "20/21 -Havertz club plays Porto in the CL knockouts. 23/24 - Havertz club plays Porto in the CL knockouts."
It follows a thread on the social media site from the same account detailing similar occurrences between Arsenal's run this season and Chelsea's in 2021.
Another post read: "20/21 - Havertz club draws 1-1 in the last CL group match. 23/24 - Havertz club draws 1-1 in the last CL group match."
And another said: "20/21 - Havertz club secures CL top spot in their fifth group match. 23/24 - Havertz club secures CL top spot in their fifth group match."
It did not stop with a fourth saying: "20/21 - Havertz knocked out by a London club in the Carabao Cup fourth round. 23/24 - Havertz knocked out by a London club in the Carabao Cup fourth round."
There was more with this post reading: "20/21 - Arsenal win Community Shield - Spurs top of the league ten games in - Havertz first season at a club wins CL.
"23/24 - Arsenal win Community Shield - Spurs top of the league 10 games in - Havertz 1st season at a club…"
Arsenal might consider themselves one of the favourites to make a real push at winning the Champions League this season.
It is a trophy they have never won, coming closest in 2006 when they reached the final, which saw them lose to Barcelona.
Of the teams left in the Champions League, some notable clubs are missing but some big hitters remain including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and City, who won the competition last season.
