Tottenham news: Fans overjoyed with ‘summer signing’

Tottenham fans awoke on Thursday morning to discover Christmas had come early, sort of.

White Hart Lane favourite Hugo Lloris has decided to sign a new long term contract with the club, singling out the supporters as one of the reasons for staying in north London.

The France goalkeeper had been tipped to move to PSG in the summer, but at the very least will have one more season in the Premier League. "I enjoy a great relationship with the club and the fans. The arrival of Mauricio Pochettino is important as well. I have a good feeling with him. He is also ambitious," he said.
