James Maddison reveals cold reply to Neal Maupay as Thomas Frank tells Brentford forward to avoid in-game trolling

James Maddison had the last laugh over Neal Maupay after a heated London derby between Tottenham and Brentford.
Spurs came flying out of the traps in the second half on Wednesday night, scoring three in ten minutes to go 3-1 ahead having gone a goal down at the break courtesy of Maupay.
And his goal celebration - mimicking Maddison's darts throw - didn't go down well, though the Spurs players were quick to get their own back.
When Brennan Johnson made it 2-1 after Destiny Udogie's equaliser, he threw an imaginary dart and Richarlison screamed in Maupay's face in another incident as he reset for kick-off.
Asked about the celebrations after the match, Maddison told TNT Sports: "I told him he hasn't scored enough goals to have his own celebration so he had to copy mine... a short story, it ended well for us though."
Maupay, though, wasn't done, telling Maddison he managed to get in his head. "Ahaha living rent free," he wrote in the comment section of the Spurs man's Instagram post when summing up the incident.
Meanwhile, Brentford boss Thomas Frank suggested Maupay's decision to ruffle feathers wasn't the most sensible one.
When asked about Maupay's antics after his goal, Frank said: "I didn't see that. If he did it, maybe, maybe not.
"Personally I think it's better to avoid things like that and just to celebrate goals but I know there is banter going around and there is always stuff you guys need to talk about.
"I guess it's part of the game now."
Maupay's goal appeared to wake Tottenham up at half-time, with two goals in quick succession from Udogie and Johnson turning the match on its head.
Richarlison then made it three shortly after to make it three goals in 10 minutes to leave Brentford shell-shocked.
Ivan Toney managed to score after a mistake from Udogie but Tottenham hung on for all three points.
The three points moved Spurs into the top four.
