Ole Gunnar Solskjaer linked with shock move to Bayern Munich amid growing pressure on Thomas Tuchel
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be brought in as Bayern Munich's interim boss should Thomas Tuchel leave.
Bayern are staring down the barrel of a first trophyless season since 2012 as defeat at the weekend saw them go eight points adrift in the Bundesliga title race.

They're already out of the DFB-Pokal and are trailing in their Champions League last 16 tie against Lazio and naturally pressure is growing on manager Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel's job is safe for now, according to Bayern president Jan-Christian Dreesen, but reports that former Manchester United boss Solskjaer is being monitored by Bayern amid potential to become interim boss.
The report echoes Dreesen's claims that there are currently no plans to relieve Tuchel of his duties and intend to keep him on until at least the end of the season, however.
Sky Germany adds that there's nothing concrete between Solskjaer and Bayern.

The Norwegian has been out of work since losing his job as Red Devils job in November 2021.
Solskjaer was appointed interim Man United boss until the end of the 2018/19 season following Jose Mourinho's sacking in December 2018.
But he was awarded the job on a permanent basis in March 2019 after a brilliant run of results.
He guided them to an impressive second-place finish in the Premier League in the 2020/21 season, however, his tenure ended without a trophy and with humiliating defeats including a 6-1 loss at home to Tottenham and a 5-0 defeat against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Tuchel and Bayern are feeling the pressure with their 3-2 defeat at Vfl Bochum leaving them eight points off Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Bayern need to overturn a 1-0 deficit at the Allian Arena for the second leg of their last 16 clash against Lazio on March 5 to stay in Europe.
