But the France international appears to already be on his farewell tour in Paris with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Having already told PSG that he will not renew his deal, Mbappe looks set to leave this summer for nothing - with an agreement believed to be in place with Real Madrid.

And PSG coach Enrique even let slip that the World Cup winner is seemingly on his way out of Parc des Princes.

The Spaniard said: "Kylian, I'm not just discovering him today.

"You already know my opinion on him. he's the best player in the world.

"He'll score 50 goals and provide 25 assists in any team with any coach and unfortunately he won't be here in the near future so we will have to test other teammates of his."

Real Madrid have always been favourites to secure his services, and came close to snapping him up two years ago before he extended his contract with PSG.

A move to the Premier League has been previously touted with Liverpool amongst the chasing pack.

But the finances involved in signing the superstar mean that any chance of the forward arriving on these shores are miniscule at best.

Meanwhile, Mbappe has denied that there was a rift between him and Enrique after the PSG boss took him off at half-time last weekend.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta gives Gunners supporters hope of stunning Kylian Mbappe transfer with Frenchman set to leave Paris Saint-Germain

He remarked: "I always want to play in the Champions League — it is a very important competition.

"I could never be a player who hides. My relationship with the coach is good.

"There is no problem even if people might think that there is. I have many issues but the coach is not one of them."
