Kurt Zouma set to start for Chelsea in FA Cup after injury layoff

Antonio Conte has confirmed Kurt Zouma will start against Peterborough with the Chelsea defender set to make his first appearance for the first team since February.

A serious knee injury against Manchester United derailed Zouma's Chelsea career, but Conte says he is now delighted to welcome the youngster back to the starting line-up.

The Blues host Peterborough in the third round of the FA Cup, with Conte expected to make a number of changes to the side that were beaten at Tottenham on Wednesday.

"He (Zouma) is ready to start," the Chelsea boss confirmed.

"I'm pleased for him. He deserves this. It's a good opportunity for him."
