Liverpool players and staff members remained calm despite being taunted by a gleeful Manchester United fan.

United booked their spot in the FA Cup semi-finals with a stunning 4-3 comeback win over their rivals at Old Trafford.

Substitute Amad Diallo was the hero of the day as he rolled the ball into the bottom corner in the final moments of extra time.

It's arguably one of the greatest matches in the history of the FA Cup and one that will live long in the memory of United fans.

One supporter in particular couldn't contain his excitement, boasting about Man United's win in front of the opposition.

"Yes, f****** come on!" the fan screamed when positioned next to the Liverpool dugout after the full-time whistle was blown.

The fan then started hysterically laughing as Mohamed Salah walked down the steps, shouting: "Come on Moey boy!"

Dominik Szoboszlai then walked past and appeared to have a wry smile, with the fan then exclaiming: "You f****** idiots!"

Andy Robertson also walked past while Jurgen Klopp's assistant Peter Kraweitz was among those to show restraint as they left defeat sink in.

United on the other hand commenced their jubilant celebrations, with the rivalry making the victory taste even sweeter.

Erik ten Hag's side took the lead after ten minutes through Scott McTominay, but Liverpool led at the break.

Goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Salah came on the stroke of half-time as Jurgen Klopp's side grew into the game.

It looked as though Liverpool were going to go through to the semi-finals but a late finish from Antony meant extra time was required.

Harvey Elliot's strike deflected in to give the Reds the lead again but Marcus Rashford levelled to offer United more hope.

With seconds left on the clock, Diallo's shot crept into the bottom corner to send the Old Trafford faithful into jubilation.

United will now face Coventry City in the semi-finals, with Manchester City coming up against Chelsea in the other tie.
