Wales 4-1 Finland LIVE REACTION: Dragons deliver top performance to set up mouthwatering Euro 2024 play-off final against Poland

Wales will face Poland in the Euro 2024 play-off final next week after smashing Finland 4-1 in Cardiff.

The Dragons were all over their opponents from start to finish and opened the scoring through David Brooks.

Neco Williams scored a stunning free-kick before Teemu Pukki pulled one back.

But Brennan Johnson and Dan James wrapped up for Rob Page's side.

    Right, that's it from us this evening as Wales sealed a place in the Euro 2024 play-off final with a comprehensive win over Finland.

    Of course, the next challenge is Poland, which will be much harder, but there were plenty of positives to take from this match.

  • Rob Page reflects on win

    Wales head coach Rob Page was very happy with his side's 4-1 win over Finland.

    He said: "We got off to the best possible start.

    "We had to address a few things at half time and were better in the second half. It could have been five or six, but the message is, this is only half time.

    "We've now got a massive match on Tuesday, and we can't wait.

    "We were disappointed with the goal we conceded. It made for a few uncomfortable moments, but the start of the second half was excellent."

    Bayer Leverkusen's goalkeeper, Lukas Hradecky, hasn't lost a single club game this season.

    His side have been magnificent, but this match was too much for him.

    Clearly, he's devastated.

    As is now tradition, the Wales players and fans begin singing Yma o Hyd.

    Again, it's a real special moment, and the atmosphere was excellent this evening.

    Of course, Poland will be a tougher test, but there were some great performances from some of those Welsh players this evening, and the confidence will be flowing.

    Well, that's the end of the game, and what a display from the hosts!

    They were dangerous throughout and Rob Page's men will now play Poland in Cardiff next Tuesday.

    Wales fans, get it in your diary because it's a massive game, and if they play like this, the Poles will be in trouble.

    D James has been sublime since coming on, and he has a deserved goal.

    The Leeds winger steals the ball off the defender and races around Hradecky before easily slotting it in.

    It's going to be Wales vs Poland for a spot at the Euros.

    They've been excellent tonight and are using the pace they have to push Finland back time and time again.

    He tries to clip a cross to the far post for Wilson, but just evades him, as the Welsh fans break out into a rendition of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

    It's another set-piece and Davies powers in an excellent header.

    But after a relatively quick VAR check, the header is ruled out.

    Williams collects at the far post and goes down under some slight pressure and wins a soft free-kick for the hosts.

    But it's a very harsh decision as Mepham did catch the Finland forward.

    Lod drills the next one in at the near post and Moore thumps a header away.

    That's another reason why Page has brought him on because he's good in both boxes.

    He lifts a pass over the top for Johnson to chase, but he can't get there.

    It's played in to Wilson.

    He cuts inside and drills a shot wide of the target.
