If I was David Moyes I would leave West Ham at the end of the season, lots of clubs would have him

Phil Thompson has encouraged David Moyes to look for a new challenge away from West Ham at the end of this season.
The Hammers boss has faced pressure from sections of the club's support, despite his side currently sitting seventh in the Premier League as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Joining Jeff Stelling on talkSPORT breakfast, the Liverpool legend admitted that he struggles to understand fans' criticism of the Scot, given his achievements whilst in charge of the east London side.
After Stelling outlined Moyes' credentials alongside Irons supporter and marvelbet369.commentator Bianca Westwood, Thompson argued that calls for the manager to be sacked were laughable.
In response to Westwood's observation that West Ham could secure back-to-back European titles this year, he asked: “How can we be talking like this and the guy’s job is under threat?”
Thompson continued by encouraging the 60-year-old to seek a fresh start away from the London Stadium, saying: "If I was David Moyes I would leave at the end of the season.
“I would leave, because David, his stock is high amongst other clubs, he could get into a lot of football clubs."
The former European Cup winner added that the manager should not tolerate the ongoing grumblings from some of the club's faithful.
Thompson went on to say: "With West Ham, I just feel like with the fans, he’s only two defeats away from them wanting him out again.
“I would go like that [hold his hands up] and say ‘I’ve done my job’ and he can walk in elsewhere.”
While Westwood was quick to point out that the majority of supporters have no issue with Moyes, her views were soon opposed by another follower of the club.
West Ham fan Steve called into the Breakfast Show later in the morning to slam the former Manchester United and Everton boss for his tactical decisions in his team's recent 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Comparing the weekend's performance to their previous 5-0 Europa League win over Freiburg, Steve observed: “We played Thursday night with an attacking team and I said, ‘I bet he won’t play the same team or the same way on Sunday’.
“He made me wrong for the first half. We went out, we played, we scored. Lovely, wonderful.
The Hammers supporter then laid into Moyes, adding: “What happens in the second half? We take off Antonio, who was causing havoc I might add, and then he brings on a defender.
"Talk about, ‘let's keep what we’ve got’! Why don't we just go out and batter them? And that's all he ever does! He hasn't got an attacking bone in his body, the moron!"
The show's hosts both tried to reason with the disgruntled fan, with Thompson arguing that the club could struggle should they sack Moyes, who led the club to Europa Conference League glory last year.
He asked: “[If] Moyesey’s not there and things go bad, how would you react next season if he wasn’t there, and then you’re fighting relegation again?"
But Steve refused to accept Thompson's argument, continuing to slate the manager.
Steve said: “That's what we’re used to, we're not used to success. We've got a bit of success and now we want to go on further from it.
"And we're not going to do it with the dinosaur, the dinosaur plank who’s got one eye.”
