Premier League relegation run-in: Remaining fixtures, key clashes and predicted finishes as six sides battle to stay up

The 2023/24 Premier League relegation battle is unlike any we have seen in recent times.
Everton and Nottingham Forest have been hit with points deductions by the league for breaking financial rules which has had major ramifications on the rest of the league.
The Toffees were initially handed a ten-point deduction, which on appeal, was eased to six.
They have since been docked a further two points. Forest have lost four points.
This means there are six teams locked in a dogfight until the end.
Here, marvelbet369.com takes a look at the battle to avoid the drop.
It's been a tough season for Brentford, and they aren't safe yet.
The Bees were deprived of Ivan Toney until January due to his ban for illegal betting on football, while they are one of the teams to have lost the most days to injury.
Bryan Mbeumo, Aaron Hickey, Kevin Schade and Rico Henry, all key players, have been absent for large chunks of the year.
In their remaining games, Thomas Frank's men face none of the teams in the title race but must play Everton, Sheffield United and Luton.
In the end, they should be fine, but it's still been a disappointing campaign for the Bees.
Predicted finish - 15th
Sheffield United - H - April 13
Luton - A - April 20
Everton - A - April 27
Fulham - H - May 4
Bournemouth - A - May 11
Newcastle - H - May 19
In a normal Premier League season, the Toffees would only be five points off that magic 40 mark.
But due to their financial woes, the team is still in trouble and are in bad form.
Sean Dyche's men have won one of their last 14 league games after winning four in a row earlier in the year.
And looking at their remaining fixtures, it's probably a good job they picked up those points because the Toffees have to face Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as Nottingham Forest, Luton and Sheffield United.
Those three are huge matches, and Everton must take at least seven points, which should be enough to seal safety.
However, they did beat Burnley at Goodison Park, which was a huge result.
Predicted finish - 16th
Chelsea - A - April 15
Nottingham Forest - H - April 20
Brentford - H - April 27
Luton - A - May 4
Sheffield United - H - May 11
Arsenal - A - May 19
Liverpool - H - N/A
Even before the point deduction, Forest were struggling and decided to replace Steve Cooper with Nuno Espirito Santo.
The former Wolves boss hasn't had the impact expected, and the Tricky Trees are in a spot of bother.
They've only won two of their last 12 games, so a return to the Championship is starting to look possible.
In their remaining matches, they play Man City at the top end of the table and also face Everton, Sheffield United and Burnley.
It will be those games that decide their fate, barring any appeal on their point deduction.
Predicted finish - 18th
Wolves - H - April 13
Everton - A - April 20
Manchester City - H - April 27
Sheffield United - A - May 4
Chelsea - H - May 11
Burnley - A - May 19
Despite being written off at the start of the season by everyone, Luton are in with a good chance of survival in their first-ever Premier League campaign.
The Hatters have been a breath of fresh air and have been extremely entertaining, scoring the same number of goals as Manchester United and nearly twice as many as Sheffield United.
But Luton face some very tough games. They have to play Manchester City, while ties against Everton and Brentford are must-win.
Ultimately, the Hatters should just about have enough to stay in the Premier League.
Predicted finish - 17th
Manchester City - A - April 13
Brentford - H - April 20
Wolves - A - April 27
Everton - H - May 4
West Ham - A - May 11
Fulham - H - May 19
For a team that demolished the Championship last year, a lot more was expected of Burnley.
However, the Clarets have proven to be naive and weak at the back.
Vincent Kompany's ideas about the style of football he wants to play are right, but the players look unable to execute them, and relegation seems almost inevitable.
They are only six points away from safety but have some tough games coming up, including Tottenham and Man United, while clashes against Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest are huge.
There is probably just too much to do for Burnley this time, especially after losing to Everton.
Predicted finish - 19th
Brighton - H - April 13
Sheffield United - A - April 20
Manchester United - A - April 27
Newcastle - H - May 4
Tottenham - A - May 11
Nottingham Forest - H - May 19
Unless things drastically change in the last games of the season, this Sheffield United team will go down as one of the worst the Premier League has ever seen.
The Blades have beaten Derby's 2007/08 points tally of 11, but are currently seven points off safety and have conceded a ridiculous amount of goals.
Chris Wilder's side have shipped 82 goals and have been thrashed numerous times this year.
They will fight until the bitter end, but they still have to play Man United and Tottenham.
The Blades made many mistakes in the summer, leading to what has been a shambolic campaign that is set to end with demotion to the Championship.
Predicted finish - 20th
Brentford - A - April 13
Burnley - H - April 20
Newcastle - A - April 27
Nottingham Forest - H - May 4
Everton - A - May 11
Tottenham - H - May 19
Man United - A - N/A
