England v Belgium preview

England will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night after falling to a surprise defeat against Brazil at Wembley on Saturday night.

Gareth Southgate's men fell to their first defeat at Wembley since the final of the last Euros in 2021, their first loss in 90 minutes at Wembley since defeat to Denmark back in 2020, and their first loss in any competition since their World Cup defeat to France back in 2022.

England will see Tuesday's clash against Belgium as a chance to make amends for their defeat on the weekend, in what will be the Three Lions' final match before their squad for this summer's Euros gets announced, giving the opportunity for some fringe players to stake their claim for a spot on the plane to Germany.

The Euro 2020 runners up will take on Bosnia and Iceland on home soil in June before setting off for Germany for their Euro 2024 campaign, which gets underway in Gelsenkirchen against Serbia, before they take on Denmark then Slovenia in Frankfurt then Cologne.

Belgium make the trip to London have also suffered a disappointing result on Saturday night against Ireland in Dublin, having to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Domenico Tedesco is yet to taste defeat as manager of Belgium since taking over following their disappointing World Cup campaign in 2022 which saw them exit in the group stage, finishing top of their qualifying group for Euro 2024 with six wins from eight matches.

Like England, the Red Devils will play two final friendlies in June prior to their commencement in the Euros, both at home against Montenegro and Luxembourg, before their tournament kicks off against Slovakia in Frankfurt.

From there, Tedesco's side will travel to Cologne to take on Romania, before their final Group E in Stuttgart against either Ukraine or Iceland.

Belgium have won three of their last four matches against England, however the Three Lions are yet to be defeated at home by any Belgian side.

England v Belgium betting tips

The other of which, which also looks a potential money maker, sees England win and score over 2.5 goals, Phil Foden to score, now at 5/1.
