REVEALED! The best player in each position in Europe this season – Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City stars included

The best player in each position in Europe can now be revealed.

A study conducted by the  measures the individual technical performances of players who have clocked up over 900 minutes of match action in 2016/17, scoring them out of 100.

There are some surprise inclusions - and some less surprising, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi vying for the forwared role [the winner is the highest scorer in the whole study, obviously].

The research provides information on goalkeepers, full-backs, centre-backs, defensive midfielders, attacking midfielders and forwards.
