Paul Clement is on the verge on landing his first new signing as Swansea City manager, with PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh set to join the club in a £4million deal.
The 26-year-old Netherlands international is already in Wales and is set to undergo a medical with the club.
Narsingh, who was linked with Liverpool earlier this year, has 16 caps for his country and has made close to 150 appearances for Eredivisie outfit PSV, scoring 24 goals from midfield.
His contract with the Dutch club was set to expire in the summer after he snubbed the chance to sign an extension, with Burnley, Sunderland and Wset Brom also reportedly interested.
But Swansea have won the race for the in-demand star and his impending arrival will boost their attacking options, with Clement keen to bolster his squad for the upcoming relegation battle.
The Swans currently sit 19th in the Premier League, though are just two points away from safety in what is an extremely close bottom-end of the table.
Clement watched from the stands as his side claimed only their fourth league victory of the season, against Crystal Palace, last week.
And he will surely be hoping his January signings will lead to more victories as they slug it out for survival.
