Toney appeared angry after Brentford failed to snatch all three points at the death.

He was seen holding three fingers up towards Collins, which could reference the amount of goals that Brentford shipped in.

While he could be stating that he wanted the ball played to feet instead of Collins playing it safe in the closing seconds.

But Collins wasn't having what the England international had to say, and could be seen firing back in the tense discussion.

In the end, boss Thomas Frank stepped in where he grabbed his arm around the Collins, while Neal Maupay attempted to calm the centre-back down.

Speaking of the quarrel to talkSPORT's Alex Crook, Frank insisted that any beef between the pair has been squashed.

He then said: "Both are very competitive, this team is very competitive, I don't know exactly what it was about.

"But it's fine to have a little friction, this is a very good group of players. There is no problem."

Meanwhile this supported messaged: "Why was Collins arguing with Ivan Toney? Did I miss something?"

In what was a hectic encounter in the Midlands, Villa took a 2-0 lead after scoring either side of the break through Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers.

But the visitors fought back to go 3-2 up thanks to strikes from Mathias Jorgensen, Bryan Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa.

Watkins then equalised with ten minutes to play as both teams pressed in search of a late winner.

In the end, they were forced to settle for a point apiece with the Villans unable to extend their lead over fifth-placed Tottenham to five points.

Meanwhile Brentford have dropped down into 16th spot, and are now just four points above the relegation zone.
