Chelsea are desperate to secure a top six finish in order to qualify for Europe next season and made a strong start against the Blades with Thiago Silva finding the net.

It was the Brazilian's first appearance since February 12 and took just 11 minutes for him to give the Londoners the lead.

So far this term, Chelsea have only managed five wins on the road, leading their traveling fans direct a chant at the Sheffield United fans, saying: "How s*** must you be? We're winning away."

Not one to outdone in the self-deprecating humour, fans of the Blades immediately clapped back, joking: "How s*** must you be? It's only 1-0."

That joke was in reference to the fact that Silva's goal was the 81st goal that Sheffield United have conceded this term, with the Blades firmly on track to suffer relegation.

However, they hit back when Jayden Bogle drew the game level after 32 minutes.

Chelsea retook the lead through Noni Madueke's powerful strike but the spoils were shared as Oli McBurnie struck in stoppage time.
