Arsenal FC transfer news and rumours: AC Milan star is Arsene Wenger’s top target to replace Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal have earmarked AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang as a replacement for unsettled Alexis Sanchez, according to latest reports.

Sanchez is stalling on a new deal at the Emirates and has been heavily linked with a move away from north London in the summer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is preparing for the loss of his highly-rated playmaker and is said to be looking to Serie A for his replacement.

Niang is unsettled at Milan with coach Vincenzo Montella telling reporters the Frenchman must do more to merit a starting place in the team.

And the Italian media are reporting that Arsenal are now lining up a move for the the 22-year-old.

Niang certainly boasts the capability to unsettle defenders and with searing pace, he may just fit the bill at the Emirates.
