Evan Ndicka pictured smiling in hospital bed as Roma issue positive update on defender after collapse on pitch

Roma defender Evan Ndicka is 'feeling better' having been taken to hospital after collapsing on the pitch on Sunday.
Ndicka was taken off by medical staff in the 74th minute of Roma's clash with Udinese on Sunday, however, the club confirmed that he was conscious before being taken to the hospital for checks.
The match was subsequently abandoned and in a positive update on Ndicka, Roma confirmed his teammates visited him in hospital with the player in 'good spirits'.
In a picture with Ndicka smiling doing a pose where he's tensing his right bicep, Roma said on social media: "The team visited Ndicka in hospital.
"Evan feels better and is in good spirits. He will remain under observation for tests in hospital.
"Go Evan!"

The 24-year-old was seen going to the ground holding his chest while Roma were in possession.
The game was at 1-1 when it was suspended.
Players and staff from both teams spoke to the officials before coming to the decision. Fans from both clubs applauded the decision.
It's not been confirmed what the nature of Ndicka's health scare is but he appears to be through the worst of his problem.

Udinese took the lead through a goal scored by former Watford man Roberto Pereyra. Romelu Lukaku levelled the match shortly before Ndicka went down.
Roma came into the game sitting in fifth place, four points adrift of Bologna in fourth.
Udinese, meanwhile, went into the clash in 15th spot, just a point above the relegation zone.
Ndicka joined Roma last summer from German club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Paris-born star began his career with French club Auxerre and has 14 caps for the Ivory Coast national team, helping them to Africa Cup of Nations glory earlier this year.
