Arsenal create club history against Wolves as Mikel Arteta’s side return to top of the Premier League table

Arsenal have returned to the top of the table following a hard-fought 2-0 win against Wolves at Molineux on Saturday night.
Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard found the back of the net in either half as the Gunners moved a point clear of Manchester City.
Belgian forward Trossard was found by Gabriel Jesus just inside the box before the break, where his scuffed effort bounced off the post and into the back of the net.
Odegaard then found the back of the net in second half stoppage time from an acute angle to end Arsenal's two-game losing streak.
Incredibly, Arsenal have now kept six away league clean sheets in a row.
In doing so, the Gunners have created club history, with the top-flight's best defence again doing the business again for Mikel Arteta's side.
They have also become the first team since the 2014/15 term to keep as many away consecutive clean sheets.
Arsenal have also now scored in 33 successive matches against Wolves - their longest scoring streak against an opponent in club history.
The visitors had David Raya to thank in the first half for keeping the scores level after expertly denying Joao Gomes.
The midfielder robbed Jakub Kiwior off possession, before bursting into the box and getting a shot away, which Raya turned onto the woodwork.
And it proved to be a decisive moment, with Trossard grabbing his 14th of the season in all competitions moments later.
It was Trossard's ninth Premier League goal this campaign - the most he has managed in a single season since moving to England in 2019.
Arsenal started off the second half on the front foot, and had chances to double their lead through Kai Havertz, Odegaard and Ben White.
And they finally grabbed their second of the night in the closing stages, with Odegaard finishing off a counter-attack led by Declan Rice.
It was just the type of performance Arteta would have wanted following last weekend's 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the Emirates which saw the north Londoners slip to second behind City.
They were then were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich in Wednesday's quarter-final second leg tie after losing 1-0 at the Allianz Arena.
But their win in the Midlands has seen them move one point clear of the Citizens, who beat Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final earlier on Saturday.
Arsenal could increase their lead to four points over Pep Guardiola's men should they beat rivals Chelsea on Tuesday.
As for Wolves, they missed out on the chance to move into the top ten, as they remain in 11th spot.
