Arsenal 5-0 Chelsea LIVE REACTION: Havertz scores twice against old club as magnificent Gunners batter woeful Blues to extend lead at top of Premier League
Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a stunning 5-0 win over Chelsea.
The Gunners were sublime from start to finish against a dreadful Blues side, who were carved open time and time again.
Mikel Arteta’s side opened the scoring through Leandro Trossard inside five minutes, and then missed countless chances in the first 45 minutes.
However, the second half was a different story as Ben White swept home from a corner before Martin Odegaard played Kai Havertz through, and he scored against his old club.
The German got his second with a clever finish inside the box before White's cross looped into the back of the net.
There were further chances for the Gunners, who sent out a clear message to Manchester City and Liverpool.

Partey plays a pass into Saka, and he dances into the box before feeding Havertz.
The German takes a touch and reverses a shot in off the post.

The ball comes into him in the box, he brilliantly creates the space to shoot.
However, he fires a shot from close range wide of the near post.

However, this is all about Odegaard as he curls an unbelievable pass around the Chelsea defence for the German.
He holds off Cucurella and slams his shot into the roof of the net.

The hosts take the corner short, Saka plays it to Rice, who is unmarked, and he drives in a shot.
It deflects to White, who is also unmarked, and he whips his left foot around it and finds the bottom corner.
Mills: "Cucurella, embarrassing. If I'm Pochettino I'm getting him off now."

Odegaard finds space on the right and plays a sublime ball down the right side of the box.
Havertz flicks an effort at goal that the goalkeeper saves at his near post.

Rice pinches the ball off Gallagher and Odegaard rolls a pass into the Englishman.
He strides into the box and rifles in a low shot that the goalkeeper blocks at the near post before the Blues clear.

Gallagher does well on the right and curls a lovely cross into the box.
It looks like it should be an easy header for Jackson, but for some reason, he lifts his arm, and the ball hits his head then his hand before travelling towards goal.
Raya makes the save, but it wouldn't have counted anyway because Jackson punched it.

He crosses to the far post and Cucurella's shot is blocked.
He gets it back and finds Fernandez, who just misses the far post with a side-footed effort.

Initially, Havertz gets space in the box and drives in a low shot that Petrovic saves.
The Gunners recycle it and another strike comes in that hits Disasi and looks destined for the net, but Petrovic makes a stunning stop.

He fizzes a ball into the area that hits Gabriel and rattles off the outside of the post and goes behind for a corner.
