Koeman seeking more Southampton signings before summer window shuts

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman admits he is still looking to sign more players before the transfer window closes and would like to bring in another winger.

After seeing star players such as Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren, Calum Chambers and Luke Shaw leave the club, the Saints manager has been doing his best to re-shape the squad.

And after bringing in Shane Long, Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic, Koeman is hoping there will be more new arrivals before the end of August.

The former Ajax and Barcelona coach said: "We are still looking to bring one or two more in. We need a winger and the club is working on that."

Koeman also took the chance to once again state that influential midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will not be the next big name to leave, despite the strong speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.

"Schneiderlin is not for sale," he added.
