Middlesbrough FC transfer news: Jese Rodriguez poised to reject chance to join Aitor Karanka’s side

Jese Rodriguez is set to shun a loan move to Middlesbrough.
The 23-year-old forward joined French champions Paris Saint-Germain from Real Madrid last summer, but he has been already deemed surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for Rodriguez and Boro have reportedly made an approach to take him on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Boro boss Aitor Karanka knows the Spain international well from his time at Real Madrid as assistant to Jose Mourinho and is an admirer of his talents.
But, according to AS, Rodriguez has no interest in linking up with Karanka at the Riverside Stadium.
He is understood to favour a return to his homeland, with Las Palmas eager to do a deal this month.
