Mauricio Pochettino LEAVES Chelsea after meeting with club’s hierarchy

Mauricio Pochettino has left Chelsea following a meeting with members of the club's hierarchy.
The Argentine joined the club last summer and guided them to a sixth-placed finish in a season that's seen plenty of setbacks.
But just two days after the conclusion of the season, the former Tottenham boss has left the club.
The decision comes after a meeting with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart as well as co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali over two days.
talkSPORT understands the Chelsea players weren't informed before the story broke and were fully supportive of Pochettino, who is set to bank £3million following his departure.

Pochettino's contract was set to expire next summer.
talkSPORT understands Pochettino was considering quitting if he did not have a greater say in the club's transfer policy.
As previously reported by talkSPORT, Pochettino was frustrated at his lack of input in recruitment during the last two transfer windows.
The Argentine clapped a journalist in his press conference before his side's final game of the Premier League season who pointed out Chelsea's brilliant form of late.
The Blues won their final five Premier League games, including a 5-0 thrashing of London rivals West Ham.
That run of form led them to claim a spot in next season's Europa Conference League. They will reach the Europa League if Manchester City beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Despite this, Pochettino will not be the man in the dug out next season.
The report that the names likely to be considered are Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness, Girona’s Michel, Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna and Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca.
McKenna is the leading contender to replace Brighton's now-departed boss Roberto De Zerbi.
