Arsenal injury news: Aaron Ramsey set for three weeks out with calf problem

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set for three weeks on the sidelines through injury.

The Wales international limped off during Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Watford with a calf problem.

It means the 26-year-old will miss Saturday's clash with Chelsea, although the Gunners boss will be boosted by the return of fit-again Danny Welbeck.

When asked how long he expects Ramsey to be out for, Wenger said: "I would say 21 days."

As well as Welbeck - who scored twice in his return to the first-team in the FA Cup last weekend - Arsenal also hope to have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud available.

"Giroud should be alright," Wenger added.

"Maybe Welbeck will come back into the group and that's basically it. Chamberlain has a test today as well but I think he will be alright."
