England’s Euro 2024 squad: Gareth Southgate confirms 26-man squad with four Crystal Palace players included

Gareth Southgate has confirmed his 26-man squad for the upcoming European Championship with some shock calls made.
The Three Lions have a number of new faces heading to Germany this summer, including four Crystal Palace players.
The Eagles stars dominate the call-ups, with Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton and Marc Guehi joining Dean Henderson in making the final cut.
Regulars Jordan Pickford, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Harry Kane will represent England once again this summer.
Meanwhile, England newbies Ezri Konsa, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Jarrod Bowen and Ollie Watkins have also been selected following their respective impressive seasons with their clubs.
Liverpool's Joe Gomez has received his first call-up for a major tournament, too.
Fellow Reds star Trent Alexander-Arnold will also be on the plane after missing out on Euro 2020 due to injury.
Brentford's Ivan Toney and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins have been selected as Kane's back-ups.
This is the first time Southgate has named three no. 9s in a squad for a major tournament.
England were set to confirm their final squad on Saturday, but brought the announcement forward to Thursday afternoon.
Before the official squad release, it was announced Jack Grealish, James Maddison, Harry Maguire and Curtis Jones would miss the tournament.
Meanwhile, Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite has also been unable to make the final cut as well as Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah and Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford.

When asked if signing off the notable omissions made it his toughest day as England manager in his press conference, Southgate said: "No question.
"[It's] one of the most difficult parts of the job. We’re a close team and I think everybody, players, staff, we knew this decision was looming. I tried to do it as respectfully and with as much human-side as possible. I know for the players that aren’t coming with us that’s a devastating blow."
Detailing how Grealish and Maguire took the news, he said: "All the players took the news really respectfully. The fact is we’ve got players who have played extremely well in the league this season and we just feel some players have had stronger seasons.
"They've been tough calls. We back our decisions but we recognise we could've gone a different route. Both boys are big characters and great boys to work with. It was sad to deliver that news to them."
"Harry has made some progress, but it's been complicated," he continued, addressing Maguire's omission following his calf injury. "We wouldn't have him in the group stages. We need players who are ready for the start.
"You know how I feel about Maguire and what he's done for me as a manager."
England play their final game before Euro 2024 gets underway this Friday as they face Iceland, live on talkSPORT.
The Three Lions face Serbia in their opening game of the tournamnt on Sunday June 16, with kick-off set for 20:00.
The Euro 2020 finalists will also face Denmark, then Slovenia, as they aim to qualify for the knockout stages.
