Harry Kane’s incredible goal showreel from his six-month loan spell at Millwall has resurfaced on social media.

The England skipper had a short stint at The Den in 2012 prior to establishing himself as a Tottenham first-team player.

An 18-year-old Kane spent the second of the 2011/12 campaign at the Championship club and it's fair to say the move was a success.

He went on to score nine times in 27 appearances and scooped the club’s Young Player of the Year award.

Ahead of Euro 2024, Millwall have paid tribute to their former loan signing by putting together a clip of Kane’s best goals during his time at the club.

Even before his rise to global superstardom, Kane can be seen boasting a huge repertoire of goals.

From a close-range header against Dagenham and Redbridge to a cool low finish at Burnley, Kane showed signs of his brilliance early on which was summed-up by a stunning 30-yard strike against Rotherham.

Despite his early promise, few would have predicted his meteoric rise to become Tottenham and England’s all-time leading goalscorer.

And the country will be pinning their hopes on the Bayern Munich striker this summer as England go searching for their first ever European Championship success.

But Kane’s exploits at The Den are still fondly remembered today with fans associating the striker's goals with the club’s end-of-season revival where Millwall won five of their last six games to stave off relegation.

“It’s safe to say that we probably would not have stayed up had Harry not come,” said former Millwall assistant boss Joe Gallen. “It was a gamble bringing him because of his age and it being Millwall and the Championship, which is such a tough league. But he just went on a great scoring run. His goals and the way he played changed it all for us.”

Meanwhile, Kane credits his loan stint as a huge part of his evolution as a player.

“My loan at Millwall was a big part of my development,” Kane told in 2018. “I was 18, we were in a relegation battle and it turned me into a man.

“I played in difficult, high-pressure games and I managed to come out of it positively. I had a great time at the club.”

Those loan spells in the EFL stood Kane in good stead for bigger and better things.

He went on to score 280 goals for Tottenham, winning three Premier League Golden Boots, before securing a blockbuster move to Bayern Munich.

In Bavaria, he netted 44 goals in 45 games in a stunning debut season.

The 30-year-old is already England's record goalscorer with 63 and will be hoping to add to that tally at Euro 2024.
