Euro 2024 Group E permutations: Belgium, Romania, Ukraine and Slovakia set for tense final fixtures tonight
Group E reaches its climax this evening and the four teams involved are set for a dramatic finale.
For the first time ever at the European Championship, all four teams in one group are on the same points with one game to go.

Romania are in the driving seat in Group E, sitting top of the table on goals scored, having netted three in an impressive win over Ukraine.
If they avoid defeat against Slovakia, live on talkSPORT 2, they will guarantee a place in the knockout stages.
Edward Iordanescu's side can win the group if they win tonight and Belgium fail to beat Ukraine.
Another two draws in Group E will mean Romania win the group if they score more goals in their game than Belgium do.

If Ukraine win or draw and Romania lose to Slovakia, they will be heading home.

Belgium
As for Belgium, they are eyeing a win to secure their progression too.
Three points against Ukraine, live on talkSPORT, would guarantee them a top-two place in Group E.
If Domenico Tedesco's side win and Slovakia don't beat Romania, they will also win the group.
And it's the same if both games are drawn and Belgium score more goals than Romania in their fixture.
The Red Devils could still be knocked out should they lose and the Romanians don't.

Slovakia
Slovakia know they just need to beat Romania to go through.
A win would see them automatically qualify while a draw would mean they finish third.
In that case, they would still progress as one of the four best third-placed teams anyway.
They can even finish top of Group E too if they win and Ukraine don't beat Belgium tonight.
If Belgium don't lose their game and Slovakia do, it would eliminate them from the tournament

Ukraine
Ukraine are bottom of Group E going into the final game.
However, if they beat Belgium, they will go through to the last 16 as one of the top two.
Should Ukraine win and Romania don't beat Slovakia, they will progress as group winners.

If they draw and the other game in the group doesn't end in a draw, they will go through in third place.
Sergiy Rebrov's men will be eliminated though, if both games are drawn or if they lose and Slovakia don't.
