Hutton signs new three-year Aston Villa contract

Alan Hutton has agreed a new three-year deal with Aston Villa.
The Scotland defender, who was loaned out to Championship side Bolton last season, has been in superb form this campaign, helping the Villans to second in the Premier League table.
Paul Lambert appeared ready to sell the former Tottenham right-back this summer but, in what some might say is an astonishing turn around, the 29-year-old's performances have seen him claim back a starting spot at Villa Park.
Aston Villa chief Lambert told talkSPORT earlier this year he was delighted with Hutton and Darren Bent, who spent last season on loan at Fulham.
"I kept my head down, worked hard, came in every day and it has paid off," Hutton told the club's official website. "Now I just want to go on and take this opportunity given me by the manager.
"Like everybody else here, I've always trained hard so I've been able to come back strong this season and the benefits of that have been excellent for me.
"We've made a really strong start to the season and we want to continue in the same vein.
"The squad has depth and a great mix of youth and experience which should stand us in good stead over the rest of the season."
