CONFIRMED! Everton line-up v Krasnodar: Strong team despite Man United test

Everton come into their Europa League match at Krasnodar on a high after snatching a late draw in the Merseyside derby.

And it appears manager Roberto Martinez is taking this match as seriously as he did against Wolfsburg in the opener. This is despite a massive match against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Toffees swept aside Wolfsburg 4-1, only to then suffer a surprising 3-2 reverse against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park three days later.

Former Red Devils midfielder Darron Gibson will partner Gareth Barry in midfield with Christian Atsu, Aiden McGeady and veteran Leon Osman just ahead of them.

Seamus Coleman's continued absence at right-back means Tony Hibbert is in, possibly meaning local Merseyside lad Tyias Browning plays against United.

Kevin Mirallas is another player set to miss out after injuring his hamstring against the Reds and his place will be taken by Aiden McGeady, whose experience of Russian football with Spartak Moscow will stand him in good stead alongside Samuel Eto'o, who also has knowledge of the country after two years with Anzhi Makhachkala.
