Cristiano Ronaldo destroys record with YouTube channel subscribers as he shows off award to Georgina Rodriguez and kids
Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his own YouTube channel and fans have subscribed in their millions.
In fact, the lucrative side hustle was launched on Wednesday and in less than 90 minutes, it had surpassed the million mark, which is faster than any other channel managed.

He now has more than a whopping eight million subscribers and counting.
The channel is designed to give fans a glimpse into the player and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez's life, whom he also hints he has secretly married.
Ronaldo also gives his hot takes on a variety of subjects in the string of videos upon its launch of on Wednesday afternoon.
One video that stands out is his one titled ‘These are my passions!’

From boxing or UFC to NBA and NFL, Ronaldo is asked to pick between each to give fans an insight into his hobbies outside of football.
Asked to choose between tennis and golf, Ronaldo sways his body towards tennis.
Shortly after, he’s asked to pick between the sport’s legends, Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal.
The camera zooms in on his face as he struggles between the two, wincing as he tries to pick.

In the end, he can’t decide, and bows down towards the middle to indicate being unable to choose.
Both Djokovic and Nadal have had glittering tennis careers - so it’s understandable Ronaldo had a hard time picking his favourite.

Current world no. 2 Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slams, making him the most decorated player in the modern tennis era.
Most recently, he won a gold medal at the Olympics for Serbia at Paris 2024 to complete the Career Golden Slam.
That’s achieved by winning titles at all four majors and the Olympic singles gold.

Nadal, meanwhile, has also completed the Career Golden Slam.
He has won 22 Grand Slams and is the current world no. 1.
Nike once launched a campaign that involved Nadal and Ronaldo going head to head in tennis and football - but that doesn’t seem to have swayed his decision making.
And Ronaldo’s YouTube channel - that he's told fans to 'siuuuscribe to' - is already breaking records.
It took him just one hour and 29 minutes to reach one million followers, as well as just 22 minutes to hit 100,000 followers.
Incredibly, he is on the way to reaching one billion subs and has already been showing off his gold award for hitting one million to his family.
