Paddy Power pay out bets for Everton to be relegated just two games into Premier League season after Tottenham defeat

Everton's misery has been compounded by Paddy Power with the bookmakers already paying out on them to be relegated.
The Toffees have lost both of their Premier League matches so far to leave them rooted to the bottom of the table with one of six teams yet to secure a point.
Brighton inflicted a 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park last week, which saw Ashley Young receive a straight red card.
And on Saturday, Sean Dyche's men were thrashed 4-0 away at Tottenham, where they mustered just one shot on target.
Having battled against relegation since the 2021/22 campaign, many fans and pundits feel this could be the year that Everton drop down into the Championship.
It's the same view as betting company Paddy Power, who have already declared they will be paying out on bets for Everton to be plying their trade in the second-tier next term.

Pressure is already on Dyche, and things could get even worse for the Merseyside outfit should they be dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Doncaster on Tuesday night.
Speaking to reporters after the 4-0 defeat in north London, Dyche insisted his side can't keep making mistakes.
His comments come after goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was robbed of the ball by Heung-min Son following a poor touch, which led to Spurs doubling their lead.
Dyche said: "We had two mistakes last week that cost us, and a glaring one today which is really difficult to take.
"And in places like this where we know they've got firepower and various people that can score a goal, at 2-0 you're trying to get back in the game.
"But you know that you might get hurt again, and we did."
He continued: "Mistakes change games, it's as simple as that, goals change games.
"But if you're giving players goals in the Premier League, it's a very difficult thing.
"And unfortunately in the first two games, we've given three away."
In a separate interview, he said: "We changed the storyline last season, then in the summer we sell big players. You're trying to build a squad and the challenge starts again. It's a never-ending challenge at Everton Football Club.
"There's so many stories, so much noise every day and it's not very often about the football."
However, Dyche did call for perspective after the opening two games.
"Is there a reality it's tough to come down here [to Spurs] anyway? Yes. Is there a reality it's even tougher when you've got a thin squad and you haven't invested like these have? Yes.
"Does that mean they win? No. I've shown that many times before, the players I've worked with... But you have to make games like today work in your favour and we didn't have enough to do that today.
"We finished strongly last season. We sell a player [Onana] who's growing and maturing and become a very important player. And then we bring in other players who we've got to start the process with again and make them grow and mature and become important players. It's a cycle that keeps going and going and going.

"That's just the reality of the club and I always try to work on realities. There's plenty of myths about it - the latest one being, it's the last season at [Goodison Park] so we're going to be in Europe. And I went, 'how's that then? So what happened to the last three seasons? Do you think they weren't trying to be in Europe?'
"There has to be some reality to the storyline and I've tried to bring that."
