Jamie Carragher makes shock Cole Palmer transfer prediction if Chelsea continue to struggle

Jamie Carragher has made a shock Cole Palmer transfer prediction if Chelsea's struggles continue this season.
Palmer enjoyed a breakout campaign for the Blues after joining from Man City in a £42.5million deal.
The 22-year-old was named PFA Young Player of the Year after smashing in 25 goals in all competitions.
He was the one bright spark for Chelsea last season in an otherwise disappointing campaign.
The move from City to Stamford Bridge has been a positive one for Palmer.
He made it into England's Euro 2024 squad and played a key role in Gareth Southgate's squad making the final, before losing to Spain.
Palmer was rewarded for his brilliant season and penned a two-year contract extension, giving him an increased wage, to take him to 2033 at the club.
However, Carragher suggested that should Chelsea have another dismal season then he could be looking elsewhere.
Palmer is a boyhood Manchester United fan, despite coming through the City academy.
And Liverpool legend Carragher tipped them to take a look at the situation in 12 months time.
Speaking on The Overlap, Carragher said: “Something’s just come to me here. If Chelsea have another poor season, we were talking earlier about Manchester United having a real problem on that right wing.
“He [Palmer] is a big Man United fan isn’t he? Would that not be something that United should visit maybe in 12 months if it doesn’t go well?
"You know what, I think that could happen. Yeah, Cole Palmer to Man United.”
Big things are expected from Palmer this season, but talkSPORT host Simon Jordan thinks there is perhaps too much hype surrounding him.
He told talkSPORT: "Every time Cole Palmer came on the pitch [at Euro 2024], the expectation level was that he was going to do something spectacular and change the direction of travel of the game.
“I think he's a good player, I think he's going to be a very good player.
“But when you see someone like Mbappé come on the pitch or you see the previous superstars, I don't think he's anywhere near there. I think he's a very good player.
“I think he's got the ability to be a very, very good player. But we have this propensity to be able to turn a quart into a pint just because we want to.”
