Mr Beast has perfect response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s bold plans with Lionel Messi comment

Mr Beast had the perfect response after Cristiano Ronaldo revealed he had set his sights on the YouTuber.
The Portuguese icon has made making history a habit throughout his incredible career, recently hitting the 900-goal mark with his strike in a 2-1 Nations League win over Croatia.
And it isn't just on the pitch where Ronaldo is intent on breaking new ground, as he announced his plans to eclipse Mr Beast as the YouTube channel with the most subscribers.
The 39-year-old recently announced himself on the platform with his newly-launched '', and wasted no time in making history.
Ronaldo gained a million subscribers within 90 minutes of creating his channel on August 21, a new record.
On the first day of launch alone, 20 million people made sure to subscribe, comfortably surpassing Mr Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, who took 28 days to reach the same figure.
In a press conference ahead of Portugal's Nations League fixtures, Ronaldo set his sights on the American online personality, who boasts an astonishing 313 million subscribers.
He said: "Mr Beast on YouTube? In two years, let's try to beat him."
And the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star's words appear to have caught the YouTuber's attention, who has now hit back with a cheeky response.
Appearing in a recent video alongside Argentinian online personality Spreen, Mr Beast can be seen tasting Ronaldo's arch rival Lionel Messi's favourite drink, the herbal tea mate.
While he appears less than impressed by the beverage, the 26-year-old then turned his attention to the footballing great, aiming a savage dig.
He said: "Ronaldo recently said he wants to pass me in subscribers.
"Messi, you are officially the best football player on the planet. The debate is over."
Mr Beast then added: "Messi- this drink is amazing!"
With Ronaldo a fierce competitor driven by a desire to be the best, the popular online figure's comments here will no doubt spark a reaction from him in more ways than one.
Despite extending his lead as football's all-time record goalscorer with his landmark strike against Croatia, the Al Nassr hero has previously stated that he does not plan on slowing down after this.
In a recent conversation with former United teammate Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel, he revealed his ultimate target of reaching 1,000 career goals before retiring.
The Portugal captain said: “For me it's the best mark that I can have in football, to reach, first 900 goals.
"After, my challenge is 1,000 goals.”
Ronaldo also boldly claimed he could to reach the figure in under two years, by the age of 41, when Ferdinand asked what age he would be when he does eventually hang up his boots.
Hitting the milestone would certainly boost his claim to be considered the greatest footballer of all time, and may well go some way in forcing his new rival online to reconsider his stance.
Ronaldo will look to make further strides towards this goal in Portugal's next match, where they take on Scotland at home in another Nations League fixture on Sunday.
Fans can also surely expect to see more entertaining interactions between him and Mr Beast, as the two stars prepare to battle it out to become YouTube's biggest personality.
