Exclusive – Arsenal have been disappointing all season, claims McLintock

Former Arsenal captain Frank McLintock claims the Gunners have been disappointing all season - and says the performance against Anderlecht was no surprise.
The north London side required two late goals to clinch a 2-1 victory at the Belgian side in their Champions League clash.
And McLintock insists Arsene Wenger's side must improve if they're to make any impact this season.
“It was a very poor performance [against Anderlecht]," he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. "I’ve been a bit disappointed with Arsenal this year. The balance of the team isn’t quite right.
“They’ve got a lot of good players there. They played Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla on the wings [against Anderlecht] but both of them seem to want to play in central midfield all the time.
“I’m quite looking forward to [Theo] Walcott coming back.”
