The 20-year-old eventually joined Bayer Leverkusen for €14.5 million, and has become a hit with the German club's fans.

Calhanoglu, nicknamed the 'new Ozil', scored a stunning free-kick for his new side during their 1-0 victory against Schalke on Saturday night.
