Manchester City face fight for managerial target

Paris Saint-Germain could turn to Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, the man touted as a possible replacement for Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City.
Despite winning the title last season, Pellegrini has come under fire after a mixed start to the new campaign, including no wins in four Champions League group games.
City sacked Roberto Mancini a year after he led them to the Premier League title so it is not out of the question that Pellegrini's position could be under scrutiny even after last season's success.
And one of the men suggested as a potential successor is Simeone, who steered Atletico to the La Liga title and Champions League final last season.
But now, according to reports in Spain, the 44-year-old Argentinian is being lined up by PSG, who are reportedly looking at options to replace Laurent Blanc.
Simeone, at just 44 and after such success in Spain, is considered one of the best young managers in the world, and PSG are said to consider him a perfect long-term option for them.
