‘It’s a man’s sport’ – Ronald Koeman hits out at Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool staff following Everton’s derby defeat

Ronald Koeman blasted Jurgen Klopp's behaviour in Saturday's Merseyside derby.
Everton miserable record at Anfield - they haven't won there since 1999 - continued as they crashed to a 3-1 defeat.
Liverpool boss Klopp was his usual animated self on the touchline, and was infuriated by a challenge from Ross Barkley on Dejan Lovren which saw the midfielder yellow carded.
And his reactions angered managerial counterpart Koeman, who told reporters after the match: "Tackles are part of football - I saw some tackles from Lucas.
"It's all about football but we don't make a show from the bench like Liverpool. It's football - a hard and fair game.
"I don't like coaches from the bench the whole time shouting to referees and linesmen, making a big show about tackles.
"They were crazy. They didn't need the physio on the pitch. It's a man's sport."
Opposite number Klopp did not want to be drawn into a row with the Dutchman.
The German said: "It's a little bit difficult. It's like hearsay for me. He didn't say anything to me. We shook hands after the game and so I don't think it's my job to speak about him.
"My staff is fine, really good boys, involved in the game. They don't ask for anything that's not right. Sometimes we have tinted glasses - it's possible - but sometimes it's pretty clear."
Despite Everton's defeat, Koeman declared himself pleased with the efforts of his side.
After Sadio Mane's early opener, Matthew Pennington levelled with his first appearance of the season to give the Blues brief hope but goals from Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi earned the home side victory.
Koeman said: "I'm proud, I'm really proud about the team, in a way how we played today. Of course we lost the game, but I think the final result is not reflecting in our performance. They have some quality players.
"Overall I think we can be proud of the way we played, how difficult we made it for Liverpool. That's the way we like to play and how we'd like to continue."
