Exclusive – Redknapp confirms QPR keen on West Ham outcast

Harry Redknapp is ready to offer Ravel Morrison a Premier League lifeline if West Ham decide to ditch the midfielder.
The troubled 21-year-old was shipped out of Manchester United by Sir Alex Ferguson due to his off-field behaviour and is heading for a similar fate at Upton Park, with Hammers boss Sam Allardyce ready to rip up his contract having lost patience with the player.
Redknapp admits he harbours doubts about Morrison's attitude, but says he would still be keen on taking him back to QPR after he enjoyed an impressive spell on loan at Loftus Road last season.
"I like Ravel. He came last year and I didn't have any problems with him," said the Hoops boss, speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
"There has got to be a problem with Ravel if Sir Alex Ferguson can't deal with him and Big Sam can't deal with him, so he needs to sort himself out, but he is a real talent and when he was with me he was as good as gold.
“He is a good kid and his ability is just amazing. We can't buy anybody, we are looking at a few loans that can help the team, help the squad. He is one that someone has mentioned to me and he is one we could be interested in - if West Ham want to release him."
