Galatasaray slap £15m price tag on Manchester United target

Manchester United and other interested clubs will have to pay £15m if they want to sign Wesley Sneijder, according to the player's agent

Manchester United and other interested clubs will have to pay £15m if they want to sign Wesley Sneijder, according to the player's agent.

Sneijder has been heavily linked with a move away from Galatasaray during the January transfer window, with clubs across Europe interested in his services.

Manchester United are reportedly at the front of the queue, while Serie A champions Juventus have also made an enquiry for the Dutch midfielder.

However, according to Sneijder's agent Guido Albers, the 30-year-old is happy in Turkey and will only leave if a club activates his buy-out clause.

"The Turkish club don't want to sell him. Wesley loves the club and the fans, and neither he nor his wife want to leave Istanbul," Guido Albers told Sport Mediaset.

"Those who are interested need to speak to Galatasaray and meet the buy-out clause of €20m."
