Arsenal forward Yaya Sanogo completes Crystal Palace loan move

Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo has joined Crystal Palace on loan for rest of the season.

The France under-21 international is yet to score a Premier League goal, but has netted in the Champions League and scored regularly for his country.

He is also seen as a key player for the future by boss Arsene Wenger, but the French coach wants his hitman to gain more first team Premier League experience.

That is why he has turned down offers to send him back to France by loaning him out to Alan Pardew's relegation battlers.

Sanogo is Pardew's first signing at Selhurst Park and is line to make his Eagles debut against fellow strugglers Burnley on Saturday.

“He’s a young player with tremendous promise, somebody that I have tracked personally and this club has too so that fitted well," said Pardew of the 21-year-old.

"We have given him an opportunity, he needs to play more games and I think he’s ready for that and he proved that at Arsenal. It’s tough to get in their team but he’s closer to the starting action with us.”
