Hunter: Atletico Madrid can restore Torres to his former glory

Spanish football aficionado Graham Hunter has told talkSPORT he believes Fernando Torres can get back to his best at Atletico Madrid.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea star has found goals tough to come by since a 2011 move to the Blues for a huge £50million fee.

But his two-goal performance as Los Rojiblancos drew Real Madrid 2-2 in the Copa del Rey, knocking out their rivals 4-2 on aggregate, showed glimpses of what the 30-year-old can do.

And Hunter feels his impressive display, made possible by the team moulded by Diego Simeone, can kick-start his ailing career.
