CONFIRMED: Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn signs season-long loan deal with Norwich City

Angus Gunn has joined Norwich City on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, the Championship club have confirmed.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper, son of Canaries legend Bryan, started his career within the Norwich academy before leaving for the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2011.

An England Under-21 international, Gunn is highly-rated amongst the City coaching staff, and he now has the chance to show his talent in the second division.

Speaking to the official Norwich website, Gunn said: “I grew up as Norwich fan and ever since I was a little boy I came to Carrow Road for every home game.

“It’s a great pleasure for me to come back and sign on loan. The main thing for me is to come and get experience, so to mix that in with coming to Norwich is a great feeling.”
