Leeds transfer report: Verona eyeing Whites defender Giuseppe Bellusci

Leeds could be willing to let defender Giuseppe Bellusci join Hellas Verona this month, according to reports in Italy.

Serie A's bottom club are in the market for a centre-back and want to bring the former Catania man back to his home country this month.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has confirmed he will allow Bellusci to leave Elland Road for a fee between £4m and £5m.

The ball is now back in Verona's court as they consider whether they can stump up the funds to land Bellusci but they are expected to return with a concrete offer before the window shuts.
