Chelsea and Man City on alert as target resists new Inter Milan contract

Inter Milan are struggling to tie down Chelsea and Manchester City target Mauro Icardi to a new deal, according to reports in Italy.
talkSPORT told you about the growing interest in the striker, who has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances this season.
As a result of that interest, according to Sport Mediaset, Inter are desperately trying to tie the Argentine down to a new deal.
The Serie A side want the 21-year-old to commit himself to the club until 2019 and they are willing to offer him a pay rise.
However, Icardi's representatives are struggling to agree terms with Inter.
The Italian club are willing to offer the forward £1.5m-a-year, but Icardi wants £700,000 more than that.
