Redknapp left a QPR squad capable of staying in the Premier League, claims Onuoha

Harry Redknapp left QPR a squad capable of staying in the Premier League, according to defender Nedum Onuoha

Harry Redknapp left QPR a squad capable of staying in the Premier League, according to defender Nedum Onuoha.

Redknapp walked out on Rangers the day after the January transfer window closed after making no additions to his struggling squad.

But the former Manchester City star says the business they did in the summer means they already have enough quality to survive.

"Over the years I've been here, I think this is the best squad we have had," he said.

"It's got the best people in. There's a lot of experience, a lot of enthusiasm, as well.

"Everyone wants to stay up. It's not a case of one or two not wanting to because they have intentions of going elsewhere.

"Everyone has got the same goal - and when you've got that, you can't help but be positive going into every single game and training session."
