Everton transfer report – Toffees ‘step up interest’ in AC Milan winger M’Baye Niang

Everton have stepped up their interest in AC Milan winger M'Baye Niang and are poised to make the 22-year-old an offer.
Niang spent the second half of last season on loan at Watford and the Hornets were given the option to sign him permanently for around £15million.
However, it seems Watford are unwilling to negotiate a permanent transfer, leaving the door wide open for Everton to swoop in.
Niang is just one of several Italian players the Toffees are keeping tabs on and, according to Premium Sport, the Merseyside club are preparing an offer.
It is expected that Milan will not hold out for anything less than the £15m they demanded from Watford, but their desire to offload could be good news for Everton.
