Done Deal! Chelsea’s Hazard joins Bundesliga giants

Borussia Monchengladbach have signed Thorgan Hazard from Chelsea.

The 21-year-old had previously been on a season-long loan at the Bundesliga club, who have now shelled out around £6m to make the move permanent.

The attacking midfielder, who joined Chelsea in 2012 shortly after his older brother Eden moved to Stamford Bridge, failed to make a single appearance for the Blues.

Instead the Belgian was loaned to SV Zulte-Waregem for two seasons before heading to Germany last summer.

Hazard's permanent move to Monchengladbach has seen him sign a contract until 2020 with the German club, although Chelsea are thought to have a buy-back clause.

The Belgium international has made 25 appearances this season for Monchengladbach so far, scoring one goal.
