Bolton sign Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy on loan

Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has already spent time on loan this season at Sheffield United, where he made 11 appearances.

The centre-back will now join up with fellow Eagles loanee Barry Bannan at Bolton after agreeing a move to the Championship club.

Neil Lennon's side are currently sitting 17th position in the table, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
